Founding-customer rate
The first 25 paying subscribers keep the price they signed up at for as long as the subscription stays active. It is a price lock, not a discount, so it sits alongside the veteran-owned discount rather than instead of it. It ends if you cancel.

Veteran-owned business
A veteran-owned business gets 10% off for the life of the subscription. Tick the box at signup; it is self-declared, like your set-asides.
There are no sales, no codes and no countdowns. Price changes never affect an existing subscription.
What a read is
One currency, and the cost is always on the screen before anything runs.
- One notice is one read. Every attachment on it is included, however many there are and however long they run.
- Re-reading after an amendment is free.
- A subcontractor search is three reads and covers one trade on one notice. A job that needs a roofer and an electrician is two searches.
- If a search comes back with fewer than two usable firms, the reads go back on your balance automatically.
- Search results are saved with the notice. Reopening them costs nothing; asking for more firms is a new search.
- Contact details are looked up per firm, on request, at no cost in reads.
- The cost is always shown before the button: “This uses 3 reads. You have 61 left.”
- Auto-read draws from the same allowance, with a daily cap you set, so a broad profile cannot spend the month in a week.
Where the work is
- A state means where the federal work is performed, not where your office is. DC and the U.S. territories are selectable like states.
- A notice with no stated place of performance, one spread across several states, one marked nationwide, or one overseas is shown to everyone.
- Your list carries a count of the matching notices outside your states, so you can see what a wider plan would be worth before you pay for it.
- States can be changed once per billing period.

Questions
What is a read?
One notice, read in full — every attachment the contracting officer posted, not the first one. Out of it come the typed fields, the requirements checklist, the deadlines and the panel saying what the model was unsure about. Re-reading the same notice after an amendment is free.
What does a subcontractor search cost?
It covers one trade on one notice and costs three reads, shown on the button before you press it. A job needing two trades is two searches. If fewer than two usable firms come back, the reads are returned automatically — you should not pay for an empty list. Results are saved with the notice, so opening them again later costs nothing.
What happens if I run out?
Nothing breaks and nothing is deleted. The list, the deadlines, the documents and pursue/skip keep working; the actions that spend a read stop until the next period or until you add a credit pack — 10 reads for $35. Bought reads do not expire with the month.
When am I charged?
The trial is 7 days and needs a card. You are charged on day 8 unless you cancel first, and a reminder email goes out on day 5. Both numbers are on the signup page beside the button.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, from the billing page — it opens Stripe’s own portal, which is also where the card and the invoices live. Cancelling stops the next charge. If a trial ends without converting, your work is kept for 30 days.
Can I switch plans or states?
Plans, any time; an upgrade takes effect immediately against the card on file and the allowance is topped up rather than reset. States, once per billing period — the date you may next change them is shown on your profile.
Do you offer discounts?

Who can see my data?
Every record in Mandra belongs to exactly one organization, and no account can read another organization’s notices, decisions, quotes or pricing — ours included. Subcontractors see one link to one notice and nothing else. The security page sets out what is encrypted, who at Mandra can reach production data, and what is sent to which processor.
