Mandra Bids is built and owned by Mandra 72nd LLC, a U.S. veteran-owned company — a contractor that bids federal work itself and uses this product to do it.
Why
Federal work is out there in volume and it is genuinely open to small firms. The obstacle is not the competition. It is that finding the two notices a week worth your attention means reading several hundred that are not, and that each one buries what you need across four attachments in no fixed order — a page limit in one, a mandatory site visit in another, a wage determination in a third.
Most owner-operators do this between six and seven in the morning, before the crews go out, on a laptop at a kitchen table. That is an hour a day spent finding out that a job was never yours to bid.
The reading should come to you, sorted. That is the whole idea.

How we work
You verify, you send, you submit
Mandra reads and drafts; it does not act. It has no mail server, no account on any bidding portal and no way to bind your business to anything. Two gates are built into the pipeline and neither can be automated away: pursue or skip after the read, and approve before a package is ready.
We say what we did not read
Every read carries a panel listing the attachments it could not open, the ones it read only in part, and the fields the documents never answered. A tool that shows only what it found is a tool you cannot check.
We do not invent
A subcontractor’s phone number is either on a page we fetched or it is marked not found. We do not verify anybody’s certification and we never call a firm certified — the true phrase is listed as, and it is the one we use.
We are a tenant like any other
Our own contracting business runs on Mandra in its own organization, under the same rules as yours. What that means in practice, including who at Mandra can reach production data, is set out plainly on the security page. Read it.
What we are not
We are not a consultancy, a proposal shop or a bid-writing service.
We do not take a percentage of your contracts. Nobody here reads your pricing.
